  Harlem's Newest Gem !

I had the fortunate pleasure of attending the grand opening of La  Scala!  A brand new upscale boutique(named after the famous opera house In Milan, Italy) in the heart of Harlem's historical district. Located directly across from Harlem's eternal flame, the famed Apollo theater.  Silly me I did not get a great shot of the outside but was able to get some great shots of the modern art deco,yet old world vibe of the store, and the lady in charge Ms. Rose.

The ever gracious host had a packed house of fashion forward friends and a who's who of  Hip Hop. DJ Jazzy Joyce ruled the wheels of steel banging out some oldies and the latest hottest jams.  The Guest of honor was no other than the "Queen Bee "  herself, "Lil Kim", or Lady Kim as I like to call all my ladies in charge!

Looking radiant as always, as true stars do she was uberfashionably late, but hey when you got it, it is what it is. The paparazzi waited patiently until the lady of the hour arrived!  Ms. Rose gave me a tid bit and let me know they will be working on a line with Lil Kim that she is developing. I'll stab at the dark and say it will definitely be exclusive @ La Scala.  

With everything from Versace, Gucci, and DSquared2, this Upscale boutique is sure to bring out fashion conscious shoppers who have a guilty pleasure for high end designs.

This collection of DSquared2 high top and low to shoes caught my eye immediately subtle but statement worthy. For the Man who knows how to dress down.

  
And for the Man who is not afraid to upgrade these sparkle DSquared2 Kicks are in a class by themselves

And lastly for the alpha male shopper brace yourself because these Valentino wing tips are sure to set you afire... My man would look so good in these

Not to leave my ladies out La Scala held an array of Gucci travel bags, Versace bags,  boots and heels reserved for only those who put the D in Diva,

                                             

  Also debuting @ La Scala a new line of studded handbags by Casandra. They went exceptionally well with these Versace badass heels.
