I Just want to say that while we lose people in the world and in our own lives everyday when we lose someone who has touched millions we as humans take it that much harder. Whitney Elizabeth Houston  did just that. She was a talented, beautiful, strong and courageous black woman. She crossed many boundaries and opened doors for the powerhouse female entertainers of today. Her voice only complimented the person her mother raised her to be. I hope that only greatness can come from such a sacrafice of life. Let us all take from this the strength to move forward, keep fighting for your own dreams, and know that making the best of your life is the only way to make sure you have given your all while living . God gives us all one life  don't spend it worring about what you don't have spend it going after what you want. That is how Whitney, and anyone living their dreams have done it. I myself have had to understand that giving up is not an option. She was someone that I admired and saw her as a true star. And we all are born with the light of a star. I hope that her legacy can rest in peace as she in my mind is and will always be not only an American Icon but a World Icon.  We at Le-fash'ion love her and will chronicle her histiory as a "fashionista" a term used today more that ever. I will show how her own style and grace influenced a generation. WOW what a way to make a first appearance on my blog!!! For no particular reason mind you  but  this is how you arrive looking effervescent in this Emilio Pucci gown Lady B. and Hubby Jay-Z hit the red carpet  looking white hot he is either in Tom Ford or Dior those are just guesses but either way they look spectacular!! 

 Alicia and Swizz looked wonderful in Givenchy.

Michelle Williams looked very regal in this Miu Miu gown I love simplicity .

Kerry Washington in an Escada gown looked effortlessly beautiful, this color was soft and striking all at once great look even though again when I think of a ball I think of a bit more drama but I love it anyway!!! Go KDUB

Christina Ricci in  a Zac Posen  gown. Love it, and he embodied the spirit of a Met Gala with this number. Sultry, glamorous , detailed and eye popping...  Dior La Gucci !!!!!

Diggin Diane Kruger in this Jason Wu gown. 

 Okay so both sister's hit in on the mark tonight and they both spotlighted their individualism Ashely  is timeless in this vintage Chistian Dior Haute Couture gown. Lovely

 Gotta say I'm diggin Emma Stone in this  Lanvin gown. Lanvin has this old world appeal  that I love.

Anna could wear a shopping bag and it would look like Chanel, regal, and simple .  Love  the cascade of color . Anna looks divine.

Madonna in  Stella MCartney she looks ravishing  and I love the detail and time that Stella put into all of works. She seems to be running the red carpet my my I must come up with a pseudonym for Mi lady Stella. Work it Madonna!!! 

 I put  Mary-Kate Olsen on here because this gown looks "Camelot and The Borgias" inspired the two new period piece shows are my guilty pleasure I love seeing medieval /ancient inspired garments it not the greatest gown  for a ball event to me but she looks great in Haute couture Givenchy, and she has that smoldering eye that says this is what I like you rocked it Mary Kate!! and that emerald jewelery was an exquisite and classy choice. 

Smashing Darling! I love red and a women not afraid to work it ! Who  else then Lady Victoria Secret herself. Giselle Looked  beautiful with hubby form that team I don't support :))) nonetheless they looked th part of a glamorous couple

Hence the tittle VA VA VA DAYUM, setting the tone with opulent  sex appeal and glamor Rhianna sizzled in this Stella McCartney gown  one  word, "NICE" 

Serena Williams opted for a princess in waiting look and it worked she looks fantastic in this cinderellaesque gown and in lieu of the Royal wedding last week love that she chose a topper (hat slowys) she is in full ball attire in my book.  

Of course I'm reppin for Kanye love a man in suit!

A Le Curve Working girl can rock this in the day with a light cardigan an then @ night  put her hair up and hit the town  this a fab tweed shift dress also by Michael Kors @Bloomingdlaes

I have yet to try them on but I hear Not Your Daughters jeans by Cookie Johnson are a hot hot commodity. I am sure it is worth checking out also @ Bloomingdales

 One of my all time favorites is Ralph  Lauren And his classic blue and white hues I can  not get enough of this is classic for spring and summer Yacht  ready attire @ Bloomingdales

whether with jeans or cut off shorts this is a great top to help with proportioning your shape even under this a fitted tank will hell preserve your fit. Beautiful color and print showing a bit of shoulder to give a laid back feel

This was the moment that the world waited for Catherine Middleton Duchess of Cambridge to be, stepped out in a Sara Burton design for no other than the House Of Alexander McQueen. I am one of those people who predicted if only to myself that his name would be the one announced as the designer of her dress. Beautiful, elegant, and traditional which I think help set the theme of their union. Tradition and value.

How dare I not put your Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II. She looked happy and quite adorable in her yellow attire.

These two Princesses looked fabulous though I will say Eugenia's, I wished would have been just a snippet more tailored, but the colors they chose were vibrant and fresh the hats both I adore but Beatrice's I love a little more.

Black, white, brown , yellow... No matter what color there is something about a fine fellow in uniform. Prince Harry looked the part as his big bro's best man.

Hands down my favorite best dressed couple and Vicki B. as I call her brought pregsexy-chic back for the Royal affair.
