Not much can be said about this woman that will not include her famous portrayal as Carmen Jones. I am willing to bet there are millions of Carmen Jones out there because of this woman alone. She certainly was a classic beauty, and a a genuine artist. She was never coined a model either but won't you agree that Ms. Dandridge's beauty and poise would fit right in on any runway today. Another beautiful black women who paved the way for many blacks in entertainment period. We miss you love you and hope that the Dorothy Dandridges of the future make you proud.
